   I’m like Sandra (her comment 2 years ago) – I really want to do the Garden City run but need the detailed instructions to avoid backtracking in unfamiliar side streets and development areas……

      The turn by turn instructions are available. Hope that helps. Be aware that being a central London ride, there are quite a lot of turns, so it may be easier to follow using a map.

   A great ride Jack. It’s especially nice during lockdown with fewer cars and people. For those yet to sample the delights, I’d say that this ride take three times longer than your cycle computer will estimate. The traffic, lights, pedestrians etc all slow you down, but the main cause of delay will be getting off your bike to luxuriate in the parks, buy a few drinks on the way and make a few lovely deviations.

      Thanks Simon – I’m so glad you liked it. I really miss cycling in London. It must have been amazing during the lockdowns with all the empty streets!

         I’ve managed to a few of your rides In the south-east over lockdown. I enjoyed your talk at the cycle touring festival. Thanks for all your great work and good route finding skills
