  1. This was my 23rd Lost Lanes Wales ride, completed on 24th August 2016. I rode 55km with 840m of height gain.

Another lovely ride on which I hardly saw a car (and no other cyclists!) all morning. The long climb from Tal-Y-Wern alongside the narrow wooded valley of the Nant Gwydol was a particular joy with the road eventually turning through a 180° corner at the top to give a terrific view back along the valley.

“Gair i’r gall” – Do stop off at Machinations in Llanbrynmair for coffee, cake and a play with the many mechanical toys on show (or the rabbits, depending on your preference!).
