Have you checked the permission to ride a bike either on Biggleswade Common or on the Kingfisher Way, beside the river Ivel, between Sainsburys, A6001 Hill Lane and Franklins Mill in Biggleswade? I think that you will find that cycling is not permitted.
Yes I have checked and yes cycling is permitted on the route as shown in the map. The off-road route across Biggleswade Common is a bridleway, and part of National Cycle Route 12. Thanks for your concern.
Hi Jack,
I Rode this route on 30th Dec 2019, it’s a brilliant ride with amazing scenery, particularly the ascent and descent from Bygrave to Ashwell. I did it the other way round. Absolutely lovely riding on mostly quiet lanes. Well done on a superb route.
