fantastic trip out; loved salts mill; a great half way point; restaurant busy would advise booking otherwise the opera café make a reasonable substitute; would heartily recommend all terrain cycles at the mill – they fixed my brakes whilst lunching and looking around exhibitions. having good brakes is essential for the descent into Ilkley! canal towpaths make up the majority of this journey, they are wide and not too busy even on a Saturday in August
